SMAHC held its 2008 Annual Celebration on November 1st at the Jackpot Junction Conference Center.  The event was attended by 120 arts supporters.  The evening was filled with great entertainment, great food, and great fellowship. 

The Pandemonium Steel Band from Redwood Falls was the opening entertainment. 

After the brief annual meeting, SMAHC presented it's annual awards to the Prairie Disciple, Violet Risch and Prairie Star, Robert Whitcomb.  Gretchen Wagner played a Whitcomb violin composition, "Evocation." 

Other performers included the jazz duo, Ross Anderson (saxophone) and Pete Lothringer (guitar) and singer/songwriter Jerry Ostensoe with Pete Den Blaker.

The evening also featured a silent auction and great door prize drawings for those who came in costume and for those who joined SMAHC as new members or increased their membership.
