Advocate for the Arts

Now is a good time to contact your legislators, incumbents and newly elected representatives and senators, to let them know how important State arts funding is to your community.  When the new legislature convenes in 2011 they will be considering the general fund allocation for the arts as well as the Arts & Cultural Heritage Funds allocations for the arts. 

Please let them know how your community has been impacted by funding through SMAHC.

SMAHC is the designated regional arts council for the 18 counties of southwest Minnesota.
