Your Input Needed at Perpich Center for Arts Education Strategic Planning Meeting in Marshall
The Perpich Center for Arts Education is undergoing its first comprehensive strategic reevaluation since its creation in the mid-1980s. This complex reexamination of the Center’s mission, range, programs, partnerships and collaborations, is inviting comment at meetings across Minnesota. The Southwest Minnesota Arts and Humanities Council is hosting one of these meetings on Thursday, February 7, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Marshall Area Fine Arts Center, 109 Third Street, in Marshall. A light supper will be provided. Consultants working with the Perpich Center are consolidating input from hundreds of individuals and groups who interact with the Center’s professional development programs, Arts High School, campus facilities, and Library and Resource Center. If you are a parent of an art student (attending the Perpich Center’s Arts High School or elsewhere), a teacher of the arts, or just a citizen interested in promoting and expanding the reach of the arts in our society, you are invited to this session. You may also contact the Perpich Center for information on planning sessions still to be held in the east and west metro areas of the Twin Cities. To RSVP for the meeting or for more information, contact Steve Greenberg at 1-800-657-3515 or Steve.Greenberg@pcae.k12.mn.us.
