Arts Across Minnesota

The deadline for the Minnesota State Arts Board’s Arts Across Minnesota grants is August 8, 2008.  This program seeks to help make outstanding arts experiences available to residents in every region of the state through festivals and touring presentations that engage local artists, children, and other members of the public in community arts celebrations. The program has three components:

· Host Community grants - These grants help support arts residencies and presentations by professional, touring arts organizations in performing or visual arts.

· Festivals grants - These funds can be used to involve Minnesota artists and small to midsize arts organizations in arts festivals, and in the arts component of community-based festivals.

· Touring Directory - listing of nonprofit performing and visual arts organizations in Minnesota that offer public performances, exhibitions, and community residency programming.
