Arts Legacy Grants for Organizations & Communities
 

Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund will support activities in three key areas of Arts Access, Art Education, and Arts and Cultural Heritage.  These programs provide funds to nonprofit organizations to stimulate and encourage the creation, performance and appreciation of the arts in the region and also to provide financial and technical assistance to aid in the organization's stability or development.

ARTS LEGACY GRANTS FOR ORGANIZATIONS & COMMUNITIES

 

Up to $20,000 provided with 25% match for organizations to create a strong arts legacy in MN through projects that develop or enhance local arts organizations, communities, or artists.

 

DEADLINES:

Round I

Grant writing workshop:  July 19, 2010

Pre-Application Deadline >$10K:  July 30, 2010

Application Deadline:  August 23, 2010

Panel Meeting:  Sept. 18, 2010

Board Action:  Sept. 27, 2010

Earliest project start date:  Nov. 1, 2010

 

Round II

Grant writing workshop: Nov. 17, 2010

Pre-Application Deadline >$10K: Dec. 6, 2010

Application Deadline:  January 14, 2011

Panel Meeting:  Feb. 12, 2011

Board Action:  Feb. 28, 2011

Earliest project start date:  April 1, 2011

ARTS LEGACY GRANTS FOR ESTABLISHED CAREER ARTISTS

 

Provides up to $7000 in funds to aid in career development and arts activities of established professional artists for projects that incorporate a community component which would provide an opportunity for the community to benefit as a result of the project.

 

DEADLINE:

 Grant writing workshop: March 10, 2011
 Application Deadline: April 1, 2011
Panel Meeting: May 14, 2011
 Board Action: May 23, 2011
 Earliest project start date: June 15, 2011

Up to $2,000 provided to organizations for planning a variety of arts projects and activities.  Arts Legacy planning grants are intended for projects or activities that will create a strong arts legacy in Minnesota.

Earliest project start date:  Sept. 15, 2010

 

Round II

Application Deadline:  January 3, 2011

Board Action:  January 24, 2011
