Meet The SMAHC Board - Part 2

We continue in this issue of VOICES, to introduce you to the SMAHC Board of Directors.  The regions that make up SMAHC are Regions 6W, 6E and 8 (see map).  There are 18 counties in these regions with one board position for each county. 

In the last issue, we introduced the Board members from Regions 6W and 6E.  This issue we feature our board members from region 8.
 

Linda Grong, Marshall, represents Lyon County.  She was elected to the board in 2006.  She is a strong advocate for the arts.  She was a founding member and past president of Prairie Home Hospice .  She is an audiologist in Marshall.

Roberta Trooien lives in rural Hendricks and represents Lincoln County. She is a recently retired teacher of composition from North Hennepin Community College. She has been actively involved in music activities as an instrumentalist and vocalist.
Ramona Larson, Redwood Falls, is a music educator and instructor in dance. She has been on the SMAHC Board for almost 6 years. She is a founding member of Tatanka Arts. She represents Redwood County.
Chad Felton, Slayton, represents Murray County. He is the vocal music instructor at Murray County Central Schools. He is also involved with the Prairie Music Concert Series. He has been on the board for about 2 years.
Bronwyn Jones lives in Pipestone and represents Pipestone County. Bronwyn Sings with the Opland Singers and serves on the Pipestone Performing Arts Center board. She has been on the board since 2005.
Cathy Peterson, Windom, is the Education/Events Director at the Business Arts & Recreation Center in Windom. She is a former Community Ed Director. She represents Cottonwood County.
Paul Grupe is from Jackson and represents Jackson County. He is the band director at Jackson County Central High School. He also has been the musical director of many productions for the Jackson County Arts Guild.
Margaret Hurlbut Vosburgh, Worthington, represents Nobles County. She is a fiber artist. She is also the manager of Memorial Auditorium Performing Arts Center. She will be completing a three-year term this year.
