Memorial Auditorium
Worthington, MN

Memorial Auditorium is located in the heart of Worthington's historic central district.  Constructed in 1931, the renovated and newly restored building is one of the largest auditorium facilities in a wide region of southern Minnesota and northern Iowa.

Memorial Auditorium is a seven-hundred thirty-five (735) seat, classic art deco performance center, owned and operated by the City of Worthington.  The large proscenium stage features state-of-the-art lighting and sound.

Friends of the Auditorium (FOTA) was established as a volunteer group who works to make the Auditorium part of the community life.  FOTA is dedicated to bringing a broad range of educational and entertainment opportunities to our community. Performers brought to this stage by FOTA are sometimes chosen because they offer quality residency programs for students and the community. Student workshops are just one of the ways FOTA supports the Fine Arts curriculum in the school system.

Memorial Auditorium is managed by Margaret Hurlbut Vosburgh.  They are releasing the lineup for the 2008-2009 season.  Tickets will be on sale September 2nd.  Visit the Memorial Auditorium website for more information:  http://www.wgtn.net/Auditorium/auditorium.htm
